Stéphane Lalut is an economist, independent researcher and essayist. He develops the framework of anthropy — the hypothesis that social systems displace disorder rather than resolve it — through a series of working papers and two published books. He is also the author of two further books, devoted to the history of ideas and to literature.
His articles and reviews appear in Alternatives Économiques, La Vie des Idées, En attendant Nadeau, Terrestres, Nonfiction, Le Temps, Mediapart, Lectures, and La Grande Conversation.
He has worked in European marketing management, public-sector consulting, and international entrepreneurship.
