The three books of the anthropic framework form the long-form foundation of the project. Where the Anthropie Working Papers formalise the hypothesis and apply it to specific objects — public debt, the energy transition, independent research —, the books deploy it across a broader arc: long-range history, economics, public finance, inequality, epistemology. The founding book is available in English as ANTHROPY – A Big History of Civilization’s Hidden Costs, whose subtitle carries the framework’s motto: “Order here. Debt elsewhere.” Every local order is financed by disorder displaced somewhere else, toward other places, other times, or other social groups. Each book can be read independently; together, they map the full architecture of the framework.

The other works belong to a separate editorial project, prior to or running alongside the anthropic framework: L’Odyssée des idées, a narrative journey through the history of ideas, and Livresque des mots, a quotation anthology in the lineage of the commonplace book — twenty-five centuries of voices, deliberately left unclassified, to be read like a novel rather than consulted like a dictionary. Apart from the founding work, all the books are published in French only.

ANTHROPY – A Big History of Civilization's Hidden Costs

Seven ages of history for a single hypothesis: disorder is never resolved, only displaced.

The foundational work on the anthropic framework. Across 632 pages, ANTHROPY develops the hypothesis that social systems do not resolve disorder but displace it — across space, across time, or onto other social groups. Order here. Debt elsewhere.

La question n'est pas « combien ? » mais « qui paie ? » — et par quels canaux le coût se déplace.

A focused application of the anthropic framework to the question of public debt. Who, ultimately, bears the cost of fiscal imbalances — present taxpayers, future generations, foreign creditors, or the ecological commons? The book maps the displacement chains by which sovereign debt redistributes disorder across time and across borders.

Pourquoi certains peuvent recommencer — et d'autres non

We are not all granted the same number of attempts. This book offers a grid for seeing a dimension of inequality that the usual columns — income, wealth, mobility — leave out of frame: what a failure costs depending on who fails, and how many attempts a trajectory actually allows. A narrative essay for the general reader, companion to working paper AWP-08.
